Carpenters Hits

A selection of easy-listening hits from “The Carpenters” arranged and played on my vintage Hammond H100 organ. This model was used extensively by Klaus Wunderlich who made so many wonderful creative & pioneering recordings using its full warm sounds. The organ is now over 50 years old but still sounds great!

I’ve used quite a lot of Klaus influences as usual and wherever possible have used the organ percussion and drawbar sounds to emulate the sounds of flute, oboe, steel guitar, banjo, trumpet, horns and strings etc. It’s taken about two weeks work on and off but because of the current lockdown situation and no gigs, it’s given me something to do!.
