Claudia Hirschfeld – Voted The German Best Instrumental Soloist in 2019
Every year the German Pop Music Foundation confers the German Rock and Pop award in more than 100 different music categories. Initially, the first step is when the foundation gets proposals in every category and nominates the best three. Then a jury determines the ranking order, and Claudia was awarded the 1st prize as “Best Instrumental Soloist” in 2019.
Recently Claudia was asked to produce a fundraising CD in support of the German Roter Keil network which is made up of a large number of people who work hand in hand to counteract the crime of child abuse. Anyone who contributes their skills, ideas, energy, time or financial support permanently or temporarily is part of our network.
The consequences for these children can hardly be described in words because, in addition to the consequential physical damage, there is tremendous mental suffering. All the tracks on this CD are connected in some musical way with the aims of the Rotor Keil Foundation, an extract of which can be heard in the February Edition of ORGAN1st Radio.
