Organ and Keyboard Cavalcade Review by Ian King
Well it was bound to happen sooner or later. All you players out there rushing to have the kudos of producing the first Tyros 5 CD, can now go and sit in the corner and sulk… The prize for the first CD recorded on the Tyros 5 goes to Mr. David Last (Andrew Varley had the first CD on the Tyros 4 in case you were wondering).
This is CD number forty-eight in around twenty years from David Last (although there may have been more from before we started), so you should know what to expect from his CDs by now. This one has no particular theme, as some of his past titles have, we are just treated to a general selection from across the board, played in his laid-back and enjoyable style.
Highlights include, “Alexander’s Ragtime Band”, “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me”, “They Don’t Know”, “Cry” and “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic”.
